The classic STUDIOBOX line (since 1990) includes the STANDARD, PROFESSIONAL, PREMIUM, and MEASURING BOX models. The biological ROSI line offers the ROSI RELAX (with the ROSI RECOVERY application variation) and ROSI STUDIO models. Each model is available in a wide variety of sizes and configurations.

There are two key aspects:

1. Interior acoustics: You can find all the information under “FAQ – Interior/room acoustics”.
2. The choice of materials: While the booths in the ROSI organic line are made entirely of local wood and wood-based materials (excluding windows, fittings, and seals), the classic STUDIOBOX line (which also has a high wood content) uses other materials (wood composites). These are all certified and non-toxic (e.g., by complying with the DIN EN 14041:2004/AC:2006 standard, etc.). We have always categorically avoided the use of any plastics that are harmful to the environment and health (e.g., PVC, polystyrene, polyurethane, etc.).

Important: The quality of the sound insulation alone is not the deciding factor when choosing the right model, because the sound level reduction – with minimal, practically imperceptible variations – is the same for all STUDIOBOX models (whether classic or biological). Up to -53 decibels. Yes, that's possible. Depending on the size of the soundproof booth, two to four strong helpers are needed to assist with carrying and assembling the elements.

No, usually not. With a little skill and muscle power, smaller cabins in particular can easily be installed yourself. We provide detailed assembly instructions and are available online for assistance if needed.

However, for large cabins and/or those with special features (e.g., panoramic windows spanning multiple panels, internal locks, etc.), as well as for special projects (see our BLOG), we recommend our comprehensive, worry-free assembly service, which we offer throughout Europe.

For most booths, between 1 and 4 hours. Only larger booths might take an hour or two longer. This video on our website shows an example of two of our installers assembling a 180 x 180 cm soundproof booth, model PREMIUM. They even managed it in 37 minutes – without any undue haste 😊.

None at all, with one exception. For mounting the door, we recommend a cordless screwdriver (although a regular screwdriver will also work) to screw in four screws to secure the door to the door frame. Everything else can be done by hand.

Yes, we do. More than 98 percent of our customers take advantage of our worry-free service.

The price for delivery and assembly depends on many factors – from the size of the booth and the distance from the factory to the installation site, to the site conditions (access for the truck, elevator, etc.). Our team always calculates the most cost-effective rate for each customer individually upon request.

We deliver the booth. Our technician also arrives, and with a few strong helpers (either provided by the customer or, upon request, organized and booked by us) to assist with carrying the components, the STUDIOBOX installer oversees the assembly.

Immediately after assembly, the booth is ready for full use.

The good news: not at all. No drilling. No hammering. No sawing. No other noise. All elements of the soundproof booth are prefabricated down to the last detail in our factory and are simply assembled on-site, securely connected with metal fasteners. Even for highly sensitive people or those with medically related noise intolerance, the assembly is easily tolerated.

In principle, there is no limit – provided the booth is handled with care. One of the key quality features (besides the sophisticated modular system) is the high level of craftsmanship thanks to the combination of handwork and CNC technology. This ensures consistent quality in terms of sound insulation and room acoustics – for decades to come.

In principle, yes. The modular system allows for this. However, depending on the size, model, fan positions, etc., there are a few things to consider. Therefore, we recommend consulting our planning team beforehand. We will create possible new configurations of the booth using the existing elements free of charge.

We use two devices that together form a fan set:

a) Natural ventilation in the form of a passive unit

b) Electronically controlled air supply in the form of an active unit

The natural ventilation (passive unit) is standard in every booth and works on the principle of pressure differential. The electronically controlled air supply (active unit, optional) operates with a multi-stage control system and, at maximum operation, delivers up to 180 m³/h of fresh air from the surrounding space into the booth.

Automatic activation and deactivation of the active ventilation when entering or leaving the booth, using sensors, is also available as an option.

For large booths (and for intensive use with high oxygen consumption), we recommend installing a second or even more fan sets.

No. There is absolutely no disturbance. Measurements by our acoustics department have shown that at a medium setting (air circulation between 30 and 60 m³/h), the unit runs so quietly that only your own breathing can be heard in the cabin. – For demanding applications in soundproof cabins, we are unaware of a better device on the global market.

Yes, that's always possible. Our planning department can provide further details.

The active (electronic) supply air unit is mounted on the wall inside the cabin, just above the floor. The passive exhaust air unit is mounted just below the ceiling and, if possible, diagonally opposite (for optimal air circulation). Our team will gladly provide recommendations for the best positioning.

If the ventilation units are undesirable inside the cabin or if there is no suitable space for them due to user reasons, external mounting on the wall and/or ceiling is also possible. Our planning team can provide further details.

Yes, in many cases. Only during physical activity with increased oxygen requirements do we recommend choosing the optional active air supply unit. It allows for controlled airflow, tailored to your needs. Many customers greatly appreciate this feature.

No, absolutely not. Even with the passive unit, which is installed as standard in every STUDIOBOX, sufficient oxygen enters the cabin. Even for those who sleep in extremely late, because: Even after 48 hours – without opening the soundproof door even once – the oxygen saturation is still high enough.

No, there is no loss whatsoever. All inlets and outlets are appropriately insulated.

Yes, with an optional air conditioning system. Our air conditioning uses a split system, which operates on a two-component principle. The compressor is mounted externally, while the actual cooling and dehumidifying fan is located inside. Both units are connected via soundproofed pipes that run through the booth wall. This ensures that there are no disruptive operating noises or vibrations inside the booth.

Yes, of course we deliver outside of Europe as well. We have customers all over the world and work with reputable, reliable shipping companies as strong partners, such as Kühne + Nagel, one of the world's largest logistics companies. – After consultation and purchase, we also oversee the delivery process right to the end, so that you receive your booth on time, at the agreed location, and in the agreed quality.

If the customer chooses to assemble it themselves, our shipping partners will deliver the cabin to your doorstep (curbside).

There are two options:

1. Our installer brings the cabin in his van. He has his own packaging system for this
2. The cabin is delivered by freight carrier. In this case, all components are packed on pallets. Delivery by freight carrier truck is used either ...

• … for self-assembly by the customer,
• … for large cabins that our installer assembles for the customer but cannot transport in his own vehicle, or
• … in the case of distant delivery locations, where our installer travels by plane instead of by car (because this saves time AND is cheaper for the customer).

Yes, that's possible. We produce at two locations: one in Germany near Stuttgart, and the other in Austria near Graz. At both locations, the STUDIOBOX is packed on custom-made pallets, prepared for transport, and then lifted into the vehicle (van, truck) using a forklift. Our team can provide the exact dimensions and weight of the pallets upon request.

After a binding order and down payment (see payment terms), the booth goes into production. From then on, it usually takes 6 to 8 weeks for us to deliver the STUDIOBOX.

For custom orders and large orders, please allow an extra week or two. Delivery may also take longer if production at both factories is running at full capacity for an extended period. Details available upon request.

Yes. In 2024 and 2025, we developed an extra-flat acoustic floor in collaboration with our research partners, which we can install upon request. Compared to our conventional acoustic floor, it saves 7.5 cm in entry height, yet offers the same sound-absorbing properties and is even 2 to 3 decibels better in terms of impact sound insulation (more information here).

While it is possible to omit the acoustic floor and place the cabin directly on the room floor to access it without a threshold, this is not an ideal solution. The very high sound insulation of our cabins would be reduced. – Therefore, we offer various access aids (ramps) that allow for easy entry into the cabin.

We also offer extra-wide soundproof doors and leveling of the floor and door threshold for easy exit from the cabin. Our planning team can provide further details.

Our most important international partners are the Fraunhofer Institute – Europe's most renowned and largest institution for applied research with more than 32,000 employees – and the international acoustic design firm WSDG (headquartered in New York with its European headquarters in Basel). We have been collaborating with both for many years.

Furthermore, synergies and know-how transfer have been achieved since STUDIOBOX became part of the Hutter Acustix group of Austrian carpentry firms – an internationally renowned expert in room acoustics with many spectacular projects. One of these, the high-end recording studio of Mixed with the Masters in Paris, received the NAMM TEC Award in California in 2024 for the most beautiful recording studio in the world. Learn more.

All of this, in-house research and further development in material properties and equipment, ensures that STUDIOBOX soundproof booths meet the highest requirements of all users – be it in terms of quality, functionality, reliability, progressiveness, sustainability or climate protection.

The STUDIOBOX warranty covers functional defects and manufacturing or material defects and is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase (invoice date) for all load-bearing parts of the enclosure construction, acoustic panels, seals, and door fittings. The provisions of the German Civil Code (BGB) generally apply.

For purchased components (e.g. our AEROPAC fans), the respective dealer or supplier warranties and statutory warranty claims apply.

Warranty claims apply to the original owner (first occupant) of a STUDIOBOX and are not transferable.

The warranty is void in cases of gross misuse, vandalism, accidental damage, lack of proper care/maintenance, or unauthorized modification of the booth by the owner. There is also no warranty for damage resulting from improper (faulty) assembly that does not follow the STUDIOBOX assembly instructions.

The warranty is also void if a STUDIOBOX is used outdoors, as our booths are designed exclusively for indoor use. This also applies to use in rooms with a consistently high relative humidity above 60 to 65 percent (e.g., damp basements, bathrooms, etc.), as the booths contain a high proportion of wood, and the material can swell, warp, and/or become affected by mold and mildew.

Our soundproof booths have been available since 1990. Even today, we still receive inquiries from customers who own models from the very first generation and need assistance relocating their booths. So, our soundproof booths last that long (and probably much longer) – provided they are treated with care.

Should one of our cabins ever reach the end of its lifespan, ALL components are 100% recyclable. That's what we mean by sustainability in practice.

Mass (along with high vertical integration, material selection, vibration behavior, etc.) is one of the most important criteria for optimal sound insulation. That's why high-quality soundproof booths are also quite heavy. How heavy depends on the size of the booth.

Generally speaking, the larger the booth, the lower the weight per square meter. Furthermore, loads (with solid construction) are distributed across the entire ceiling area of ​​a room, and nearby walls usually also support a portion of the load. Waterbeds, aquariums, or grand pianos often exert a higher load per square meter.

For legal reasons, however, we must point out that without more detailed information about the site or consideration of the construction details/quality, we cannot make any binding statements or recommendations. In critical cases (especially in very old buildings with timber frame construction), a structural engineer should be consulted for safety reasons.

HOWEVER: Since STUDIOBOX was introduced (1990), we are not aware of a single case where the ceiling load check did not result in an OK.

The complete package. Whether it's the quality of the sound insulation and workmanship, the expandable modular system, individual design options, tool-free and quick assembly, Europe-wide delivery and assembly service, and much more. And all this at a price that is by no means at the top end of the scale. Quite the opposite. Why is that? Well, that's our little secret.

We strongly advise against this. The booths have a high wood content and are designed exclusively for indoor use. Rooms with consistently very high humidity (e.g., damp basements, bathrooms) are also unsuitable, so we cannot accept any warranty or guarantee for damage resulting from setup in such unsuitable locations.

No. STUDIOBOX is not an industrial product distributed through large warehouses and intermediaries. Rather, our booths are entirely handcrafted – from the first to the last step. We build our soundproof booths exclusively to customer specifications and deliver directly from the factory. This has many advantages – including price.

STUDIOBOX booths are used in a wide variety of applications – as music practice rooms and professional recording studios, podcast and audiobook production rooms, radio and TV voice-over booths, control rooms, research labs, industrial testing and certification booths, office retreats, gaming rooms, sleeping booths, and much more. The possibilities are virtually limitless.

Therefore, we ask our customers to provide details about their intended use when we first contact them. Our team will then provide the appropriate recommendation. Anyone who wants to compare all the features of all models at a glance can do so using this table on our website.

The answer is almost always: No.

We also offer an all-inclusive acoustic service and don't expect our customers to delve into the scientific field of room acoustics if they don't want to. We have our own in-house, academically trained acoustic professionals who are happy to take care of it.

That's why we always ask about the intended application. If the customer agrees to our proposal or has already made the optimal choice themselves, they receive an acoustically optimized STUDIOBOX for their specific needs, which they can use immediately after setup and at full quality.

Exception: Only for special applications (e.g. for product certifications in industry, targeted excitation in the low-frequency range below 100 Hz, etc.) do we recommend additional acoustic measures - tailored to the respective application - which we will gladly implement upon request.

Yes, even for such special cases, there are options for completely individual adjustments that we can implement and deliver directly from the factory. Our in-house acoustics team can provide details upon request.

Usually, after placing the order, the customer pays half of the order total, which triggers the start of the production process. Depending on the destination country and delivery terms (self-collection, freight forwarding to your door, delivery & assembly by the STUDIOBOX team), the remaining balance is due either shortly before or after delivery. - For public institutions and large corporations, we also offer payment of the entire amount after order completion.

Yes, this is already possible in several European countries through our partner ABC Finance. The model works similarly to buying a car. Our consulting team can provide further details.

Yes, with our 3D online configurator. It offers numerous sizes and variations for windows and doors, even allows you to see inside the booth (with the ceiling hidden), and is generally very easy to use. Our soundproof booths don't come from a factory, and certainly not from an assembly line. Anyone who owns a STUDIOBOX possesses a high-quality product, 100% handcrafted, manufactured in two specialized carpentry workshops in Germany and Austria. Both are family-run businesses, now in their second and third generations respectively, and have decades of experience in room acoustics and sound insulation. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and state-of-the-art CNC technology ensures a high level of vertical integration and consistent quality.

The classic STUDIOBOX line uses solid wood, wood wool, slotted wood panels, and wood fiberboard, as well as wood composites (details here). Glass is used for the studio windows, and steel for the fittings and seals.

The biological ROSI line, which is made entirely of wood and wood-based materials, uses 100% wood and wood-based materials (details here).

All materials are certified for harmful substances and fire safety (see FAQ "Technical Specifications").

From just one. And that is Europe. How do we know this so precisely? Because as part of a research project (2024 & 2025) with the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics in Stuttgart (GaBi department for "Holistic Assessment"), we also conducted a sustainability analysis.

This involved weeks of research to verify the origin – and in the end, we knew the answer and were even surprised ourselves: Everything actually comes from Europe – whether raw materials (such as the steel for the fittings), glass, seals, insulation, or fabric covering. Without exception. Some even come from the immediate vicinity of the production sites (such as the wood and wood fiber insulation boards for our organic ROSI).

Therefore, we can rightly speak of a box with short supply chains. Without global trade. See "Our Environment" and "Our Production" for details.

One carpentry workshop is located near Stuttgart (GER), the other near Graz (AUT). Therefore, the booths are either "Made in Germany" or "Made in Austria".

We do. And so does our team in the workshop. Before a soundproof booth leaves the factory, it is fully assembled and thoroughly inspected. This applies to every single booth. Only when the levels of processing and functionality are 100% perfect is the booth allowed to go to the customer. We stand by that with our name. Since 1990.

We use regional softwood (fir, spruce) from one of the most densely forested regions in Central Europe, as well as many other raw materials from the immediate vicinity. We order from local suppliers, source green electricity from a regional energy cooperative, recycle all wood waste from production, avoid harmful plastics of any kind, and are constantly researching even better alternatives with our partners. In this way – and thanks to the virtually unlimited lifespan of our soundproof booths – we minimize our carbon footprint to the smallest possible level. Yes, of course. Only with older or very old booths (STUDIOBOX has been around since 1990) might it be impossible to supply replacement elements. This is because we have further developed our production methods and adapted them to modern requirements. Our team can provide details upon request.

Yes, that's possible. Whether the damage can be repaired by our team or a local partner depends on the type and extent of the damage. Our consulting team will be happy to provide information on a case-by-case basis.

We currently have six locations (four in Germany, one each in Austria and Switzerland), and the network is continuously expanding. Depending on the location, different models are available to test – whether STANDARD, PROFESSIONAL, or PREMIUM.

Both, depending on our customers' wishes. The following answers most frequently asked questions.

We don't know exactly ourselves 😊. There are practically unlimited possibilities. While we do have a standardized internal dimension of 60 cm per element, intermediate sizes are always possible – in 10 cm increments for both length and width. The largest cabin we've built so far is nine meters long.

The only limitation: We deliberately limit the cabin width (internal dimension) to 480 cm for structural reasons. Wider cabins are possible, but the construction effort is significantly greater and seems disproportionate to us.

Short answer: many. The standard interior height for all models is 205 cm. Adjustments both upwards and downwards are possible in 5 cm increments for an additional charge. Our team will be happy to provide further information.

Depending on the type of acoustic flooring we install, 27 or 20 cm must be added to the interior height to obtain the total cabin height. This determines the required installation height (room height).

As a guideline: at least an additional 8 centimeters to the cabin height. This amount of vertical space is needed for installation. In special cases, however, we can take additional measures to save space (see also the next question).

Yes, we do. In a research project with the Fraunhofer Institute and WSDG, we developed an extra-flat acoustic floor (see also: Accessibility FAQ) that provides valuable extra centimeters. And we can design the booth so that hardly any space is lost vertically and it reaches almost to the ceiling. Our team can provide more information upon request.

Yes, of course, that's possible. However, depending on the model, size, and age of the soundproof booth, there are a few parameters to consider that may limit subsequent changes to the booth size. Our planning team is familiar with the details for each booth and will gladly assist with the implementation.

Approx. 11 centimeters in a double-shell construction.

As a rule of thumb, we always recommend 30. - This is how many centimeters must be added to the desired internal dimensions (length and width) to determine the external dimensions, taking into account wall thickness and the booth base.

Example: A booth with internal dimensions of 240 x 240 cm will have an overall size of 270 x 270 cm. A few more centimeters are needed for the minimum distance to the wall. The booth and the room wall must not touch, as this can lead to unwanted sound transmission.

If you want a STUDIOBOX to be so large that it fits as close as possible to three walls of a room, or even fills an entire room, our planning team will gladly calculate the maximum possible booth size that is still feasible.

Each booth (except the small MEASURING BOX) includes sound-absorbing wall and ceiling panels, impact sound-insulated floor panels, model-specific interior acoustics, one small window, one soundproof door (without a viewing window), interior carpeting, one passive ventilation unit, one interior power outlet with a triple socket, and one or more wall-mounted LED light strips (depending on booth size). Since we handcraft all our booths in our carpentry workshop, the range of options is virtually limitless. It includes everything from studio glass doors and parquet flooring (standard on all ROSI models) to lightproof interior blinds and soundproofed inlets for external utilities (e.g., for ME/CFS), and much more. In principle, any number of units are possible. However, should any acoustic disadvantages arise (e.g., due to opposing glass surfaces and the risk of unwanted sound reflections), our team will automatically provide recommendations.

Yes. Both soundproof doors and windows are available with different visible surface heights (e.g., 73 x 36 or 138 x 36 cm). We also offer large-format studio glass doors in timber frame construction and panoramic studio windows spanning multiple wall elements, as well as special shapes (e.g., portholes). Yes, of course. The limitations due to construction reasons are minimal – our team can provide more details.

Yes, that's always possible. All our booths are handcrafted in a specialized carpentry workshop. This allows us to fulfill almost any special request. Important: Customizations of this kind usually result in longer delivery times than usual.

Yes, absolutely. A hexagonal booth is no big deal; it's quite feasible. We also build booths "around corners" (L-shaped), with beveled corners and corner doors, or extra-large booths (XXL). Even booths adapted to sloping ceilings are no problem. However, please note that in all these cases, the construction may be more complex and therefore more expensive than with standard sizes.

According to the current European standard ISO 23351-1:2020, speech level reduction for soundproof booths and similar devices is divided into five classes. The highest class, A+, requires a reduction of at least 33 decibels/dB. Classes A, B, C, and D are correspondingly lower.

STUDIOBOXes generally offer – regardless of the model – a frequency-dependent sound level reduction of up to 53 decibels, thus exceeding the requirements of class A+ by up to 20 decibels/dB.

For comparison: Although the perception of loudness is subjective and also depends on hearing ability, it is generally said that with a reduction of 10 decibels (dB), we perceive a sound source as being about half as loud as before. A further 10 decibel reduction halves it again, resulting in only a quarter of the original volume. At -30 dB, it's one-eighth, and at -40 dB, one-sixteenth (6.25%).

With sound insulation of -40 to -50 decibels, the perceived loudness therefore decreases by 95 percent or more.

In general, our booths provide equally good sound insulation in both directions, with minimal variations. This means:

Noise source inside the booth: Even strong sound sources (e.g., loud musical instruments like drums) are barely audible, or not at all, in the next room of the same building when the door is closed – and you won't hear anything on the floors above or below either.

Noise source outside the booth: The same applies inside the booth if you want to work, record, rehearse, etc., in peace (or simply enjoy the silence or sleep). Whether it's everyday household noise, footsteps from the apartment above, street noise, children crying, or neighbors playing music – none of it will be audible. The room-within-a-room system works to its full potential. This has been proven hundreds of times.

No, it isn't. An "absolutely soundproof" booth doesn't exist. In short: Something—sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on the booth's quality—almost always gets through, especially at very low frequencies and from very loud noise sources.

Of course, it would be possible to build a truly soundproof booth, but the walls would need to be so thick and multi-layered that the effort would be disproportionate to the benefit, and the booth's weight would be enormous.

HOWEVER: Truly high-quality booths provide such effective sound insulation that only a fraction of the noise gets through. And because the floor, ceiling, and walls of the surrounding room also offer some sound insulation, the problem is almost always eliminated.

Yes. But only if the booth is completely soundproofed. To combat this type of noise (structure-borne noise), the approach doesn't rely on classic absorption within the material, as with airborne noise, but rather on the principle of mechanical decoupling. This is because we can't hear structure-borne noise; we only perceive it as vibration.

Only high-quality soundproof booths are effectively soundproofed. In STUDIOBOX booths, decoupling is achieved through Sylomer pads, which are attached to the underside of the booth floor using a proprietary system and act as vibration dampers.

HOWEVER: Even the best soundproof booths have their limits. If the walls of your house or apartment are literally shaking and the floor on which the booth stands is vibrating, this will inevitably affect the booth as well. Well-insulated booths, however, reduce the extent of structure-borne noise so significantly that the problem usually disappears.

For drums (and generally for all instruments, including low-frequency ones), we primarily recommend the PREMIUM model. There are several compelling reasons for this:

1. Linear, neutral interior acoustics across all frequency ranges (including low frequencies)

2. Three types of absorbers/diffusers (invisibly integrated into the walls)

3. Studio-quality sound

4. Pre-calculation of the interior acoustics based on our long-standing partnership with WSDG. WSDG is the world's leading acoustic architecture firm, headquartered in New York. We know of no better experts in this field. Retrofitting with mobile absorber elements or other acoustic optimization measures is generally unnecessary for our booths. They already offer the highest sound quality – starting with the reverberation time.

Yes. The more affordable PROFESSIONAL model, positioned in the middle of the price range, is also suitable. It has similarly good room acoustic properties to the top-of-the-line PREMIUM model, and thanks to its angled internal acoustics, it also avoids unwanted reflections, flutter echoes, and the like, and it also has a consistently low reverberation time. However, it is not designed for studio-quality drum recordings.

The most affordable of the three models, STANDARD, can also be used for playing drums. Its internal acoustics can be described as warm and spacious. However, it's important to note that we cannot guarantee that flutter echoes and other similar issues won't occasionally occur (because of the lack of angled internal acoustics). The high sound insulation, however, is the same as with the other models. It's no coincidence that music schools often use this model for drum lessons.

Absolutely! If you're a drummer looking for something truly special (and visually very appealing), our eco-friendly alternative is the perfect choice. While the ROSI RELAX (and its modified counterpart, the ROSI RECOVERY) are designed for sleeping or recovery from illness, the ROSI STUDIO (with its angled interior acoustics) is made for studio use. This booth is every bit as good as the top-of-the-line PREMIUM model – whether for practice or professional recording.

Damping low frequencies (especially below 100 Hertz) is generally more difficult than damping higher frequencies. This is a purely physical phenomenon and has to do with wavelength. Very good soundproof booths differ from less good ones primarily in this aspect (keyword: material selection, vibration behavior, manufacturing depth, etc.) – and in sound decoupling (see "Sound decoupling & structure-borne noise").

STUDIOBOX booths are not only completely sound-decoupled and massively soundproofed, but also exhibit very high impact sound insulation values. The standard floor achieves 33 dB, while the newly developed, extra-flat acoustic floor, created in research with Fraunhofer and WSDG, even reaches 30 dB. Here, unlike with airborne sound insulation, the lower the value, the better. In residential construction (for example, in Germany), values ​​around 53 to 45 dB are required. We are pleasingly well below these standards.

Absolutely. The circular version for standard applications has a diameter of 60 mm and terminates in a cable duct inside the cabin. If required, we are also happy to manufacture larger cable penetrations or skirting trunking that runs the entire length of the cabin.

Every STUDIOBOX comes standard with a soundproofed power connection, which runs into the booth as a cable with a triple socket. Outside the booth, only a standard wall socket is needed to establish the power connection.
